How coaching works

The approach

  • Built around your week

Your program fits the days and time you actually have and the equipment you can use, at a gym or at home.

  • Food that fits your life

Daily calorie, macro and step targets in your app, set for your goal and adjusted as you go.

  • Sleep, stress and digestion count

Your weekly check-in covers sleep, energy, hunger, stress and digestion as well as your weight and training, because they shape how you look and feel.

  • Adjusted when life happens

Busy week, holiday or illness? Tell your coach in your check-in or by message, and your plan is adjusted rather than abandoned.

Questions

I am a complete beginner. Is this for me?

Yes. When you start, you tell your coach how long you have trained and how many days a week you can train, and your program is built from there.

Will I have to follow a strict diet?

Your plan gives you calorie, macro and step targets, and your coach adjusts them around your life and your progress. The aim is a way of eating you can keep for years, not a short-term diet.

Can I train at home?

Yes, if you have the equipment for it. Your program is built around whatever you have, at a gym or at home.

How many days a week do I need to train?

That depends on your week. When you start, a short questionnaire asks how many days you can train, your work hours and when you can fit training in, and your program is written around your answers.

How long does the weekly check-in take?

About three minutes. You enter your weight, how training and nutrition went, your steps, sleep, energy, hunger and stress, and any digestion notes or questions. Photos are optional. Your coach replies with written feedback and any changes to your plan.

What if I have an injury or a health condition?

Tell your coach when you start: the questionnaire asks about injuries and health conditions, so your program can be planned around them. Coaching does not replace medical care, so anything that needs a doctor should go to your doctor first.
